Madayaw! I am Irene Q. Berondo a J-1 Exchange teacher from Davao-Philippines and a neophyte member of educators at Casa Grande Union High School. I earned my bachelor's degree in Secondary of Education (Biological Science) and Master of Education in Educational Management (36 units) at University of Southeastern Philippines. I have been teaching for 10 years now and, indeed, it has been a great roller-coaster-ride experience. In my journey as an educator, I believe students are all unique and have their own pace of learning. We must create room for mistakes and improvement so that when they interact, the change will be meaningful, experiential, and life-long learning. As the great Benjamin Franklin said: “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” I am excited and looking forward for a fruitful and blessed journey while staying in Arizona, U.S.A. See you in my class.
