Hi! My name is Katie Cuellar, formerly Lafferty. This is my 24th year teaching English. I began my career in the elementary grades, moved up to middle school after 10 years, and now teaching here at Casa Grande Union High School. I have a bachelor's degree in Education with a concentration in English that I obtained from Southern Illinois University and a master's degree in English/Teacher Leadership from North Park University, Chicago. After growing up in Las Vegas, and then moving to the midwest, I am thrilled to be back here in the sunshine! I am a newlywed, married July 7, 2023, and have four kids and a cat. I am excited to be a part of this district and look forward to an excellent year!
