My name is Mrs. Cathie White and I am a Physical Education/Health teacher at Casa Grande Union High School. I started my career teaching for twelve years in the Tempe Elementary School District. I spent those years teaching kindergarten, first grade, and fourth grade classes. I spent three years as a Title I Reading Specialist. I then took leave from teaching to raise my own three children in Casa Grande, Arizona. I went back to teaching, this time at the high school level, in 2016. I enjoyed teaching Early Childhood Education for six years; teaching my high school students all about child development through hands-on experiences in our Cougar Cub Preschool was a highlight of my career. I am excited to be teaching in the PE/Health Department. I am passionate about all aspects of health and fitness and look forward to teaching what was always my favorite subject in school...Physical Education!
