Cougar Friends is a club that builds one-to-one friendships between our general education students and our students with special needs. This club aims to offer social mentoring while also providing inclusion for our ESS students that are often isolated and excluded. Through student participation, kids with intellectual disabilities form meaningful connections with their peers, gain self-confidence and self-esteem, and share interests, experiences, and activities that many other individuals enjoy. Students without delays gain an equal amount of joy by fostering.
