It has been an honor contributing to the success of administrators, teachers, and, most importantly, students over the years. Cultivating that seed within and watching it grow as students achieve their goals has been truly satisfying.
Dreams are not fulfilled without hard work and dedication. The commitment to success comes from within and the support helps traveling the yellow brick road a bit easier. We cannot do it alone. That’s why supportive counseling is paramount to getting students to, and remaining on, that path to success.
Writing a goal down is the easy part. Outlining the objectives that allow students to achieve those goals is where support is sometimes needed. Keeping students on a timeline and reinforcing their aspirations allows us to build a solid relationship.
Setting realistic goals means that students must take into consideration anticipated and unanticipated obstacles. This is where we come in and work with them. This is one of our objectives, keeping students on point. This is a team effort, and this is how we MUST approach it.
Building confidence, fortitude, stick-to-a-tive-ness, and cultivating that seed within is the foundation in setting, assessing, and achieving goals. This has been my history. I give my ALL and ‘leave it ALL on the Field!’ In this, I TRUST.
