Mr. Takhar is originally from the United Kingdom (UK) and spent 27 years there. Whilst there, he worked in the film industry and also as a teacher of English and Media Studies for four (4) years. Mr. Takhar completed his Master of Arts (MA) in Education in 2019 and he is currently studying for his Doctor of Education (EdD) and, as such, is a keen academic writer in his spare time. Mr. Takhar won Casa Grande Union High School District's (CGUHSD) Teacher of the Year for the 2021/22 academic year. Mr. Takhar is a film fanatic and, as such, decided to introduce a new subject to the school called Media Literacy to impart his love of media and film to his students. He moved to the Grand Canyon State because of the awesome landscapes, sunsets, history, culture, and people here and he thanks God every day that he is here.
