Career & Technical Education

Career & Technical Education (CTE)

Certain Career & Technical Education (CTE) courses qualify for dual enrollment and will allow students to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously. In order to take these courses, students may need to meet the college requirements for taking the courses (usually pass the college reading assessment). For a detailed list of which of these courses qualify for college credit and to see the requirements to get this credit, contact a Guidance Counselor or the District CTE Director. Fees will be collected at registration and are non-refundable. If you think your student is eligible for a CTE class fee waiver due to economic hardship, please contact the District’s CTE Director Steven Sipes at [email protected] or (520) 316-3360 ext. 1122. Note: Some universities may grant Fine Arts credits for CTE courses. For more information, please contact a Guidance Counselor.
