Mikhail Ybanez brings with him 12 years of teaching experience. He taught English across all levels for eight years in the Philippines and English Language Arts (ELA) for three years in Yuma, Arizona. He holds a master's degree in Literature from Cebu Normal University. It is Mr. Ybanez's 2nd school year at Casa Grande Union High School. In his first year at CGUHS, he taught Senior English. Currently, he is handling Freshmen English which is now implementing the Modern Classroom model; an innovative, research-backed, instructional model that responds to every student's needs.
As a teacher, Mr. Ybanez believes students must learn not just academics but also learn work ethics which they will carry with them in the workplace. He adds that the classroom is a perfect training ground to develop work ethics.
In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities with his two-year-old twins and his wife.
