Lovely day! I am Jeoffrey Guillen from the Philippines. I am a certified high school English teacher at Casa Grande Union High School.
I graduated from Cebu Normal University with the following degrees: Bachelor of Secondary Education - English (2010) ; and Master of Arts in Education - English Language Teaching (2018). Presently, I am enrolled in the same school pursuing a Doctor of Education - English Language Teaching.
In my years as classroom teacher and years in online teaching, I have designed instructional materials and taught English grammar, Afro-Asian Literature, American Literature, and British Literature. I also have experienced teaching qualitative research to students from many different cultural backgrounds. I am passionate about teaching the English language and literature classes, and bring that energy into the classroom whether offline or online, ensuring that my students get to see each step of the writing, speaking, reading, and listening process as an active way to hone their ideas and express their individual strengths.
Teaching is the main highlight of my day. It motivates and empowers me. I want to dedicate my time to work with American students and help them to develop, express, and exchange their ideas.
