In December of 1992 I moved to the Yucatan peninsula in southern Mexico and continued my Spanish learning adventure that started in High School. I lived in the Yucatan for 2 years. My favorite placed I lived was a town named Chetumal on the border with Belize. Upon returning I continued my Spanish studies at Brigham Young University and later California State University Bakersfield, where I earned a BA in Spanish with a minor in Biology. I've taught in a variety of schools since graduating in 2000.
