Graphic Design Program

Graphic Design I

Graphic Design I prepares students to apply technical knowledge and skills to the layout, design, and typographic arrangement of printed and/or electronic graphic and textual products. The Graphic Design program includes instruction in the operational use of Adobe Creative Suites industry-standard software applications. Participation in SkillsUSA or FBLA is strongly encouraged.

Graphic Design II

The Graphic Design II course includes advanced instruction in digital imaging, print preparation, page layout and design, desktop publishing, and applicable principles of graphic design and web page design as well as an in-depth examination of graphic and web design’s role in various commercial, industrial, and entertainment enterprises. Students have the opportunity to earn Industry certifications through the use of Adobe Creative Suites software. Participation in SkillsUSA or FBLA is strongly encouraged. Prerequisites: Graphic Design I

Graphic Design III Internship

The Graphic Design III course is an optional internship. This course takes the knowledge from Graphic Design I and Graphic Design II to a professional, project-based level. Students who demonstrate interest and ability may be asked to participate in projects for their school and community. Students have the opportunity to earn industry certifications through the use of Adobe Creative Suites software. Participation in SkillsUSA or FBLA is strongly encouraged. Prerequisites: Graphic Design II
