Mission
Our mission is to maximize the potential of all students by providing a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing academic growth, personal/social development, and career development of all our students.
Philosophy & Beliefs
- All students have dignity and worth.
- All students have the right to participate in the school counseling program.
- All students’ specific individual needs are considered in planning and implementing the school counseling program.
- The school counseling program shall be managed by state-certified counselors.
- The student and parent(s) are responsible for monitoring the student’s educational progress with the assistance of a professional school counselor.
Program
- Utilizes community resources.
- Uses data to drive program development and evaluation.
- Is based on specified goals and developmental student competencies.
- Is planned and coordinated with other representatives of the school and community.
School Counselors/Success Coaches
- Abide by the professional school counseling ethics as advocated by the American School Counselor Association.
- Participate in professional development activities essential to maintain a quality school counseling program.
