Khan, Mia

Hello, my name is Mia Khan and I have worked as a School Counselor at Vista Grande High School since 2018. I am a proud Arizona native and I have had the great privilege to call many parts of Arizona my home. I grew up in the Phoenix Metropolitan area and graduated from Corona del Sol in Tempe, Arizona. From there, I moved to Flagstaff, Arizona and attended Northern Arizona University. I was a first-generation college student and I felt lost while navigating the college world. Consequently, I changed my major six times during my freshman year! Eventually, I found a major that stuck and I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Sociology with minors in Spanish and Social Work. I loved college so much that I decided to continue pursuing higher education. I moved to Tucson, Arizona to attend the University of Arizona. In 2018, I graduated with my MA in Counseling with an emphasis in School Counseling. Now I am proud to serve the students of Casa Grande and the surrounding area. My passion is to help all students achieve their education and career goals.
