Greetings Spartans,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Ms. Amy Faulk and I am the new 10th grade School Counselor/Success Coach for the 2026 graduating class at Vista Grande High School. I am so excited to be part of the VG family!
My family and I relocated to Arizona in 2014 from Alabama. Each year, Arizona seems more like home. However, I do miss the changing seasons back home. I have an undeniable passion for education. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master’s in School Administration, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I pride myself on being a lifelong learner. I have dedicated approximately 26 years of my life to my educational career. I have taught grades 1st-12th and on the collegiate level. I also have experience in behavioral health, and am a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army.
My primary responsibility is to promote the academic, career, and social/emotional development of students. It is important to me that I partner with my students, parents/guardians, teachers, administration, and staff to ensure students are receiving all the support they need to guide them through these high school years.
I must admit, I am a self-proclaimed foodie! I love trying new foods from various parts of the world. Each year, I try to get a new stamp on my passport.
Hopefully, I can resume my excursions soon.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. I look forward to working with and getting to know each of you throughout the school year!
Warm regards,
Amy Faulk, Ed.S
