Osmer, Cara

Hey there, don’t ya know!

Mrs. Osmer here-School Counselor at Vista. I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Go Brew Crew!) where I received both my undergraduate and master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. My road to becoming a School Counselor was a long and confusing one which I was left to navigate myself. I love working with student’s because it gives me an opportunity to take some of the mystery out of “What comes next?”. My goal as a School Counselor is to ensure that every Vista student is aware of their options whether it is entering a University, Community college, trade school, military or the work force and to prepare them for the next level. When I am not at Vista I love to read (House Slytherin here!), chow down on tasty food, travel and spend time with my husband and cheeky daughter. My door is always open, and I love when students visit for a lively debate or chat-“It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be” Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”.
