Chief Science Officers elevate the student voice by bringing their peers and community leaders together to ignite new opportunities in STEM and innovation.


CSO Chloé is a Honors Student with a focus in Engineering at Casa Grande Union High School. She is an Arizona Chief Science Officer, CGUHS Students for the Exploration & Development of Space Co-Founder and Vice President, CGUHS Girls Who Code Chapter Founder, CGUHS STEM Advisory Committee Founder, and CGUHS Robotics Team Control Systems Manager. Chloé was featured in Pinal Ways Magazine in the Spring 2018 edition article, “Teenager Becoming a Leader in STEM.” Chloé enjoys singing, writing poetry, and is active in her church.


CSO Merlin is a Honors Scholar focusing on Biotechnology at Casa Grande Union High School. She is an Arizona Chief Science Officer, STEM Advisory Committee member, Key Club member, SADD member, and Student Council member. Merlin was the administrative lead for the CGUHS Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam. Merlin enjoys reading, playing the piano, is a lector and an altar server at her church, and is a member of the school’s tennis team.

CG STEAM Fair - March 6, 2021

Explore the world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) from the comfort of your home at the virtual Casa Grande STEAM Fair on Saturday, March 6. Fellow classmates, clubs, and businesses in your city will conduct video presentations. Check out awesome projects from students across the city and watch amazing guided experiments.
