Victoria Greer of Casa Grande Union High School (CGUHS) was recognized Tuesday, May 3, as the Casa Grande Union High School District’s CGUHS Rotary Club of Casa Grande Student of the Month during the district’s Governing Board meeting. Victoria was recognized for her accomplishments and activities: Honor Roll (2-Yr/CGUHS and 1-Yr/CAC), Academic Achievement (1-Yr), Pinal County Fair (3rd Place/Pig Market and 5th Place/Pig Showmanship), National Honor Society Award, National Technical Honor Society Award, Greenhand Award, Student Council (4-Yr/Sophomore Class Treasurer, Junior Class Senator, Student Body Treasurer), Key Club (4-Yr/Senior Year Co-Secretary), FFA (2-Yr), Link Crew (2-Yr), National Honor Society (2-Yr), HOSA (2-Yr/ Veterinary Assistance Class Student Representative and HOSA Class Secretary), Basketball (1-Yr), Cougar Buddies (1-Yr/Vice President), and National Technical Honor Society (1-Yr). She has volunteered with Food Bank, Karen Ghio, and Pinal County Animal Care & Control. Victoria has certifications in OSHA, CPR, and Food Handling. She currently works for Texas Roadhouse and is on track to work in the field of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to CGUHS, Victoria’s education includes Central Arizona Valley Institute of Technology (CAVIT/ Veterinary Assistant Program), Central Arizona College (CAC), and Pima Community College (PCC) in their Veterinary Assistant programs.
