For only $45.00 annually, your child will receive:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on 1:1 Every Student Access

Will CGUHSD be an online school district?

No, the current curriculum will be enhanced with the student’s use of their laptops. Teachers will be augmenting their assignments with the Twenty-First Century skills: Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity!
 
When do the students receive their device?
The students will be given their laptops during registration. A parent or guardian must also be present to sign off that they received the laptops.
 
What are the fees involved?
There will be a $45.00 annual insurance fee per student and a $100 per incident deductible.
 
What if the student does not have internet at home?
Connect2Compete (C2C) is EveryoneOn’s flagship program for K-12 students and provides affordable Internet to students and families that qualify for the National School Lunch Program. C2C is offered in partnership with leading cable companies, including Cox, Bright House Networks, MediaCom, Suddenlink, Comcast’s Internet Essentials and others. Eligible customers receive fast, affordable Internet for as low as $9.95 per month (plus tax). For most customers, there is no deposit required, contracts to sign, or installation or modem rental fees. Visit www.everyoneon.org for more information.
 
Will the device have internet filtering?
All student devices will have internet filtering while at school, and also off campus.
 
What device will students be using?
Lenovo ThinkPad 11e with 4GB RAM, 128 GB SSD running Windows 10.
