(CGUHS) Esai Razo was recognized Tuesday, September 26, as the October Rotary Student of the Month at the district’s Governing Board meeting. Esai’s grade point average exceeds 3.0 and he is ahead on credits. He’s exceptionally proud of his experiences interviewing clinical psychologists and a major influencer, activist, and environmentalist Leah Thomas. Esai has visited such places as the Casa Grande Ruins, Phoenix Art Museum, Grand Canyon University, and participated in the Central Arizona College Math Contest. Collectively, these experiences have allowed him to grow and expand his horizons. Esai plans on either entering the workforce or attending a university/college, aiming to major in either Natural Sciences or Social Sciences. Esai is truly appreciative of his teachers, especially Mr. Fleissner, and his classmates. “My supportive parents, who are very caring, have always made sure I stayed out of trouble and succeeded in school. They taught me to stay positive during difficult times, to stand up for my myself, to be kind, considerate, and grateful for all that I have.” For past recipients, visit https://www.cguhsd.org/cgRotaryStudentOfMonth.aspx.
