(VGHS) Seal of Biliteracy recipients were honored Thursday, May 4. The Seal of Biliteracy program recognizes high school students who achieve proficiency in English plus at least one additional language. The Spartans represented English, Spanish, Italian, Filipino, Bangla, and Macedonian. The seal is placed on the student’s diploma and noted on the transcript. The presenters were VGHS’s exchange students, Sara Lombardi (Italy) and Dimitar Bogoeski (Macedonia), who are pictured with Mrs. Matthews and Dr. Maria Roel-Vecino.
