(VGHS) Diego Ramirez Jimenez was recognized Tuesday, February 6, as the Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month at the district’s Governing Board meeting. Diego was nominated by his CTE Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher Mrs. Cassandra Yeo, “Diego is a junior and currently in Early Childhood Education II. He serves as our FCCLA Chapter President. Diego is a friend to everyone he meets. He is always friendly, encouraging, and fun. Diego met individuals at Chapter Leadership Camp and has kept in touch with them making sure he reached out at Fall Leadership Camp to say hello. In the seven years at VGHS, ECE has not had a president that is consistent and kind to all members as Diego is. Thank you, Diego, for being an outstanding example of what a leader should be. Congratulations, you deserve this.” Diego’s parents are Mr. Cirilo Jimenez and Ms. Marili Ramirez of Casa Grande, Arizona.
