(CGUHS) Reanne Allado was recognized Tuesday, January 9, as the Rotary Student of the Month at the district’s Governing Board meeting. Reanne has been actively involved throughout high school while maintaining a 4.583 GPA. She has been in multiple organizations including Biotechnology, Key Club, Student Council, and STEM Advisory. Reanne also joined DECA, Robotics, National Honors Society (NHS), and Link Crew. She is involved in each club she joins by attending all events such as Key Club’s annual cleanup day, as well as multiple other volunteer opportunities with Key Club, NHS, Freshmen Orientation and Leader Training, 8th grade tours, and meetings. Reanne is an officer in most of the organizations, this year, including HOSA Chapter President; Class of 2024, NHS, and Robotics Secretary; DECA Vice President of Finance; Key Club Senior Class Representative; and Robotics Chief Science Officer. She started working last year on top of all her school commitments. Her AP Language teacher, Ms. Murillo, shared, “Reanne is a well-rounded student who understands the importance of giving back to the community. Also, her involvement in outside-of-school activities demonstrates a deep sense of social responsibility and empathy for others. Her achievements inspire us all, reminding us that with dedication and hard work, we can reach new heights. Indeed, Reanne's achievements are not only a reflection of her hard work and determination but also a testament to her potential for a bright and impactful future. I am glad to be one of her teachers.” This fall, Reanne plans to attend the University of Arizona and pursue a degree in Pre-Professional Nursing on the Pre-Med path to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
