Dress Code Reminder for all Cougars: Pajamas are not part of the student dress code at Union. Please leave your PJs and blankets at home.
Students (1/30-2/9)
Please do not utilize the Staff parking lot on the east side of campus for drop off in the mornings or pick up in the afternoon.
Unauthorized vehicles are creating a safety issue for buses.
This parking area is strictly prohibited and is only to be used by Staff and Buses and Authorized vehicles.
All students must be dropped off and picked up to the west side of campuss

CLUBS & ACTIVITIES
NHS-Officer applications are now available in D102-they are due March 8. Stop by if you want to be an officer next year. (Read until next Tuesday -Thx)
The Sophomore Class will be hosting a Bonfire tomorrow February 9 from 6pm-8pm by the baseball fields. Food, games and music will be provided. Please come out and have some fun!

Attention all Casa Grande Union High School Students and Staff: The Dance program is happy to present the first annual Student Dance Showcase. A recital presenting dance pieces created by the students in the Dance Program. The recital will be on February 8th with doors opening at 6 pm. This is a one night only event, so make sure not to miss it. There is no entry fee for this event, so come support your CGUHS dancers.
The CGUHS Youth Alliance will be hosting an interest meeting on Monday, February 12th during 3.5 in the library.
COUNSELING DEPARTMENT
The application deadline for the Joaquin Bustoz Math and Science Honors Summer Program is on Sunday, February 18, 2024. The Teacher Recommendation Letter for this program is due by Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Students who are interested may apply online at jbmshp.asu.edu, or if you are interested in finding out more information regarding this program, please visit the program’s website at jbmshp.asu.edu or see Mr. Razo in room F109.
ATHLETICS
The girls' soccer team as of today, will be the first time in 20 years the ladies' team will be in a playoff match, it may be the first time they've ever made the playoffs. This season was also the first trophy brought back to campus from a soccer tournament. They have made an outstanding performance of skill and most important, what it means to be a TEAM! This afternoon varsity will travel to Catalina Foothills for the first round of bracket play. Let’s wish them luck!!!
