(CGUHS) Savannah Marie Mize was recognized Tuesday, May 2, as one of the Career & Technical Education (CTE) Students of the Month at the district’s Governing Board meeting. Savannah was nominated by her CTE Automotive Technologies teacher, Mr. Christian Stewart. “Savannah is in the first year of Automotive Technologies at CGUHS. She shows a great interest in the automotive industry. Savannah is eager to learn about cars and never turns down a challenge. With proper guidance and training, I can see her excelling within this program. I feel Savannah will be very successful in the automotive industry. She is a pleasure to work with and an asset to our CTE program.” Savannah’s parent is Ms. Heather Follett of Casa Grande, Arizona. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in thirteen different Career & Technical Education programs throughout the Casa Grande Union High School District.
