The Sports Medicine Club is a collective group interested in potentially entering the medical field. Vista Grande High School students get the chance for observation hours and hands-on time learning the medical profession of Athletic Training. These students intern with the Head Athletic Trainer and work with VGHS athletes and coaches. Students are assigned athletic events/competitions, practices, and duties that align with competencies and education of the profession of Athletic Training. Students can log hours that can be used towards any required volunteer hours or observation hours required for high school/ college programs.
