(VGHS) Local artist, teacher, and CGUHSD alum, Erica Herman, presented a lesson on creativity in Mrs. Angie Weddle’s English classroom on Friday, January 12. What is creativity? Can it be learned? How can it be used in my academic, personal, and future life? The answers are complicated, but the solution is easy. Creativity is not a genetic trait, but an alternative way of thinking that can be taught and has beneficial aspects that bleed into all areas of life. With a grant funded by the City of Casa Grande to bring creativity back into the classroom, Erica Herman will guide students in a series of lessons through the process of becoming a creative thinker.
