(CGUHS) As part of their Professional Learning Community (PLC) and Professional Development efforts, School Counselors/Success Coaches spent Wednesday, November 15, learning more about our cooperative partnership with Central Arizona Vocational Institute of Technology (CAVIT). CAVIT offers real-world learning opportunities such as Career and Technology Education through programs such as Automated Industrial Technology, Behavioral Health, Construction Technology, Dental Science, Drone Technology, Medical Science, Patient Care, and Hairstyling, to name a few programs. School Counselors/Success Coaches had a chance to discuss program changes, program success, and plans for the future with CAVIT Superintendent Mike Glover. Later, they took a tour of the entire campus. Our cooperative partnership has created a symbiotic relationship for all the stakeholders; the day was sincerely informative.
