(VGHS) The SIFMA Foundation's acclaimed Stock Market Game™ program is an online simulation of the global capital markets that engages students grades 4-12 in the world of economics, investing and personal finance, and prepares them for financially independent futures. More than 600,000 students take part every school year across all 50 states. The Stock Market Game has reached 16 million students since its inception in 1977. The Vista Grande Marketing II & III students participated in the 2024 Arizona Spring High School Stock Market Game. The teams were made up of two to three students. Each team started out with $100,000 to invest. Out of the twenty (20) VG teams, four (4) finished in the top 25 and the team of Reagan Sanchez, Adam Bowman (not pictured), and Erik Salazar came in 1st Place by beating 900 other teams across Arizona. The students received an award, medal, and a monetary check from the Arizona Council on Economic Education (ACEE). The Spartans are instructed by Ann Jones-Hunter.
