NROTC Nursing Scholarship

(VGHS) We are thrilled to congratulate Ava Pacheco on her incredible achievement of being awarded the prestigious, and difficult to attain, Navy ROTC (NROTC) Nursing Scholarship to pursue Nursing at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. This highly competitive scholarship is awarded to only about 1,200 students nationwide each year from a pool of over 5,000 applicants, making Ava’s accomplishment truly remarkable.

As an NROTC Scholarship recipient, Ava will receive a full tuition scholarship to Belmont University and a stipend for textbooks, uniforms, and monthly allowances. Ava will also have the opportunity to participate in three summer training cruises, where she will gain hands-on experience with Navy surface ships, aviation squadrons, and submarines. Through the NROTC program, she will enjoy a traditional college experience while preparing to serve as a Naval Officer, with access to diverse career paths, including nursing, aviation, surface warfare, submarine warfare, and special warfare.

Upon graduation from Belmont University, Ava will embark on an exciting journey as a leader in the U.S. Navy, traveling the world with purpose while making a meaningful impact through her service. Her dedication, leadership, and academic excellence have set her apart, and we have no doubt she will continue to excel in her studies and future service.

Please join us in celebrating Ava Pacheco for this outstanding honor and wishing her the best as she takes on this incredible opportunity with the Navy ROTC Nursing program at Belmont University!
