(CGUHSD) Dominic Woodard, CGUHS PE/Health Teacher and Coach, was recognized at the Governing Board meeting on Tuesday, March 5, for being selected as the NHSSCA (National High School Strength Coaches Association) State Coach of the Year for all he's done for the field of high school strength and conditioning. Coach Woodard was a key contributor to the state championship team and a huge factor in reaching the playoffs four (4) out of the last five (5) years. He stops at Waldorf University, Purdue University, and the University of Arizona as assistant strength and conditioning coach.
