Reading System 44

Course Description

This class incorporates phonics instruction and writing skills, comprehension, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, and fluency practice. Students will use computer software daily to practice skills at their individual levels, participate in whole and small group instruction and read independently. The goal is to intervene and remediate existing reading deficits and prepare students for successful completion of secondary-level academic work. This course is specifically designed for students reading significantly below grade level.
