Ms. Perez is currently the VGHS Science Department Instructional Leader (DIL) and has supported other areas of leadership. She is aspiring to become a certified administrator. Ms. Perez has readily volunteered for many different tasks and is always willing to do any and everything for the betterment of the Vista Grande community. She helped to organize, oversee, and be Dean of Students in charge of the Summer Education Academy (SEA). Ms. Perez stepped into the role of DIL and has performed admirably. She seeks out ways to be a valued addition to our Vista Grande community. Ms. Perez worked over fall break to ensure that the new supplies for our science classes were properly cataloged and stored for use in our classes for students. I admire many characteristics of Ms. Perez including her humble leadership style, willingness to try different things, being an exceptional teacher, amazing heart for students, and dedication to serve others with her best. Mr. Danzy and I look forward to continued collaborations and working with Ms. Perez. -Dr. Anna Battle, Superintendent
