Congratulations to Ms. Bertha Aguayo who had her “Amazing Sensory Awareness” project funded through DonorsChoose. Thanks to the donors, Ms. Aguayo’s classroom will include supplies to expose her students with multiple disabilities to sensory awareness. With physical assistance from staff, her students can do hand-over-hand art activities using markers and construction paper. The radio will be connected to a cause-and-effect switch so students can be in control of listening to music. The parachute and balls will be used during Adaptive PE or just for fun times.
