Alexzander Casey Neal was recognized Tuesday, March 7, as the VGHS Career & Technical Education Student of the Month during the district’s Governing Board meeting. Alexzander was nominated by his CTE Software & App Design teacher, Mr. Drake Finney. “Alexzander is an amazing student when it comes to coding. Not only does he master the coding concepts quickly and accurately, he also pushes himself beyond the lesson. Each assignment comes with a “challenge” concept beyond what the assignment asks. Not only does he answer those challenges but creates his own challenges, which at times has put him days ahead of the coding class as he discovers what else he can make the program do. Selecting Alexzander as the CTE Student of the Month for Software & App Design was very easy due to his dedication to bettering his knowledge and bettering himself. These qualities will carry him far in the Digital World.” Alexzander’s parent is Mrs. Carol Ann Neal of Casa Grande, Arizona. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in thirteen different Career & Technical Education programs throughout the Casa Grande Union High School District.
