Congratulations to VGHS artists who swept the awards for the annual Pinal County Cesar Chavez Memorial Art competition. Netting nearly $1000 in prize money, they definitely put the ART in SPARTANS! First Place winners Bella Hutcherson and Jason Miguel each won $250. Second Place winners Isabella Landrum and Gavin Carillo each won $150. Third Place winners Heaven Ibarra and Paola Vega Gonzales each won $75. All these students created portraits of farm labor leaders Cesar Chavez or Dolores Huerta.
