(VGHS) Mrs. Cristina Salcido-Grigg took students to the Speak Up, Stand Up, Save A Life Conference. More than 1,700 students gathered at Grand Canyon University to create life-lasting solutions on how to speak up, stand up, and save a life. 988 is the code to call that routes callers to the National Suicide Prevention Line. When people call, text, or chat with the 988 lifeline, they are connected to crisis counselors who are trained to provide free and confidential emotional support and crisis counseling to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress and connect them to resources. The services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, across the United States.
