(CGUHS) Kaleigh Tracy was recognized Tuesday, March 5, as the March Rotary Student of the Month at the district’s Governing Board meeting. Kaleigh’s Grade Point Average exceeds 4.5 (on a 4.0 Scale) and she exceeds the required academic credits. She’s exceptionally proud of her learning experiences and is truly appreciative of the challenges she has faced in academia. Teachers who have been supportive and inspiring to Kaleigh are Ms. Pleggenkuhle, Mrs. Hawkins, and many more. Kaleigh plays five (5) instruments (guitar, ukulele, violin, cello, and piano) and loves to perform, sing, and participate in theatre. She has been in thirteen theatre productions. Family members who have and continue to support Kaleigh are her dad Scott Tracy, and mom Veronica Tracy. Kaleigh’s mom continues to inspire her through her commitments in the medical field. Kaleigh plans to attend the University of Arizona, majoring in Biochemistry and leading to her becoming a Pediatrician. For past recipients, visit https://www.cguhsd.org/cgRotaryStudentOfMonth.aspx. A Message from Kaleigh’s Teacher – Mr. Craig – AP Human Geography and AP US Government & Politics
Kaleigh is one of the school’s top students. She excels in her classwork by being detail oriented and thorough in any work she submits. Kaleigh is a great writer and speaker, and offers informed perspectives whenever the opportunity arises. She is driven to succeed. Finally, she is an accomplished musician and singer. If you have a chance to see and hear her perform, you should not miss it! I have no doubt that she will achieve great things in the future.
