VGHS junior Alyssa Tinnin has been a force to be reckoned with for the Spartans this 2021 Softball season. She is on her way to shatter the Spartans all-time pitching records! The Spartans Softball Team has played great this season as they are 6-0 and have high hopes to bring home a state championship. Alyssa has been the leading contributor on the mound for the Spartans as she is coming into her own. Alyssa's velocity, command, and spin on all of her pitches places her as one of the top pitchers across all levels in the state of Arizona. In six outings, so far, opponents have only been able to score two (2) runs against her for the entire season. The Spartans are coached by Rudy Valenzuela.
