Rotary Student of the Month

Lillian Hernandez of Casa Grande Union High School was recognized Tuesday, April 6, as one of the Casa Grande Union High School District’s Rotary Club of Casa Grande Students of the Month during the district’s regular monthly school board meeting. Lillian was recognized for her activities and accomplishments: Phi Theta Kappa member, NHS member, Tri-M Honors Society member, top one percent of high school class, top 10% academically at Central Arizona College (CAC), Flute Section Leader (2-Yr), HOSA President (2-Term), HOSA Secretary, HOSA Representative, STEM Advisory Council HOSA Representative, and Marching Band member. Lillian enjoys playing instruments, reading, and painting. She plans to attend Arizona State University (ASU) immediately after graduation and major in Biological/ Biomedical Sciences with the intent to go into Dermatology or Forensic Pathology.
