Stepping Out From Behind The Counter Award

(CGUHSD) Mary Jane Radel, District Payroll Technician, received the Stepping Out From Behind The Counter Award. Human Resources Director, Glenda Cole, had this to say, “With turbulent waters swirling all around her, emails and phone calls coming in left and right, Mary Jane kept her cool when the county informed us they were unable to process payroll a few days ago. No one knew when the county would be back online due to a serious breakdown that affected all districts in Pinal County. She stayed late and came in early to be ready if the county notified us they were back online. She answered concerned employees’ emails with the most professional and understanding tone, fielded phone calls, and continued with our scheduled onboarding of new employees without missing a beat. Her concern has always been to make sure she takes care of employees’ pay with the greatest of care.” Mary Jane is a huge asset, and we appreciate her every day.
