Kevin Hubbard Named Next Principal of Vista Grande High School
The Casa Grande Union High School District is proud to announce that Mr. Kevin Hubbard has been approved by the CGUHSD Governing Board as the next principal of Vista Grande High School.
Mr. Hubbard is a proud alumnus of Brigham Young University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He continued his educational journey by earning a master's degree in educational leadership from Western Governors University—credentials that underscore his preparedness and passion for effective school leadership.
Throughout his distinguished career in education, Mr. Hubbard has made a lasting impact both inside and outside the classroom. He began as a science teacher at Kingman High School and Casa Grande Union High School, where he ignited curiosity and inspired excellence. As a coach of girls’ basketball, his teams were lauded not only for their athletic achievements but also for their exceptional sportsmanship—reflecting the character-driven leadership style he is known for.
Over the past two years, Mr. Hubbard has served as assistant principal at Vista Grande High School, a role in which he has diligently prepared for this next step. His leadership has already begun shaping a positive and inclusive school culture.
Most recently, Mr. Hubbard shared his vision and strategic goals for Vista Grande during a community forum attended by more than 200 engaged stakeholders. The enthusiastic response and widespread support from those in attendance speak to the community’s trust in his ability to lead Vista Grande into a bright and successful future.
Mr. Hubbard is a leader rooted in character, guided by faith, family, and a deep commitment to education. As he prepares to take on this new role, we look forward to the continued growth and success of Vista Grande under his leadership.
