(CGUHS) On Saturday, October 21, Marching Band competed at the University of Arizona Band Day, with almost 50 schools in attendance. The Pride of Casa Grande finished 1st Place in 4A (topping last year’s state champions) and received distinctions for Outstanding Percussion, Visual Effect, and General Effect. At the end of the day, the judges handed out an award for the best group of the day, called the Nunamaker Award.
