Tutoring
Every Monday and Thursday tutoring will be provided for English, Math, and Science on regular school days from 3:25-4:25 pm in Room D204. Bus transportation will be provided at 4:30 pm. If you need extra support in any of these subjects, please come to the after-school tutoring program when needed.
Community Service Hours
Are you in need of community service hours? The Pride of Casa Grande Marching Band is hosting a band competition at CGUHS on Saturday, September 30 . We have jobs all afternoon and into the evening. Some start at noon, and others start at 3:00 pm. If you are interested, come by the Band room to sign up for a time.
Hygiene Drive
Bring your hygiene items for the Hygenie Drive to Ms. DeCarlo in the office, Mrs. Brady in RoomF209, or to the Bookstore. Each item, such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, and deodorant, will earn you 30 minutes of community service. The Hygiene Drive ends Friday, September 29.
Hispanic Heritage Month Fiesta Thank You
Our school's first Hispanic Heritage Month Fiesta was a success. Thank you to Spanish class students and other students who helped to decorate and helped during the event. THANK YOU, students and teachers, for participating. Our special thanks go to the 4-band members, our school students, Jose Ayala - lead vocalist, Abraham Landeros - accordion, Luis Sotelo - guitar, and Rogelio Gonzalez – bass. Cultures & Languages Club
Cultures & Languages Club meets every Monday in Mrs. Machelor´s class, Room E200. We had success planning the Hispanic Heritage Month Fiesta together with the Spanish teachers and classes. Now, we will start planning our next event for school. Come and join us.
