GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
CGUHS Dance recital is this week, Thursday and Friday night at 6:30, doors open at 6pm. Tickets are only 5$ at the door.
A holiday door decorating contest kicks off this week. Help your 3.5 teacher decorate his or her door for the holidays. Students will vote on the winning door starting Dec 11th through the 13th. To vote, you will need to place money down on the door of your choice. The door that earns the most money wins. All money donated will be given to a fund set up in honor of Hailey Stephens. More details to come about how to vote.
Amerind club will meet today after school. Bus passes are available.
CLUBS & ACTIVITIES
Cultures and Languages Club is sponsoring the FILIPINO fusion: Celebrating Culture in Harmony with our School. Please join us on Monday, December 4th at 3:30PM in the cafeteria. All Filipino teachers will be there and will explain their traditions and culture. This event finishes at 4:15, so if you take the bus, the Tutoring bus will be available. See you on Monday.
Art Club will be meeting today to edit our next project and discuss our end of the year project. This will be a short meeting till 4:15, tutoring bus passes available.
COUNSELING DEPARTMENT
It is CTE/CAVIT Showcase time! On Friday, December 8th, CAVIT and our very own CTE students and teachers will sponsor a “show and tell” event in our gym, to teach students about numerous career fields and CTE programs. There will be lots of displays and current students will be on hand to answer questions. Come learn how you can become a CTE or CAVIT student to guarantee yourself a GREAT career making GREAT money!
Listen up CAVIT students! CAVIT students will take their first semester final exams on Thursday, December 14 thru Friday, December 15. You should report to UNION to take your exams, unless you have been exempted. If you do not have exams, you should report to CAVIT for classes as usual.

The boys and girls Golf Teams – Will have our awards banquet on Monday. December 4th at 7:00 pm in the library.
