WELCOME 2022/23

Dear INOVA Families,

Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! My name is Crystal Danzy and I am the Headmaster of Innovation and Design for the school district. I will be serving you and your students this year, alongside someone you may be familiar with already, Andrea Teran. We have an eager staff waiting to support you and all of our students this year.

This is my 21st year in education here in Arizona and I am returning to the Casa Grande Union High School District (CGUHSD) after 7 years of learning and growing with other teams, including the elementary district here in Casa Grande. I was formerly a reading specialist, principal, and director for the CGUHSD. There are some exciting things happening across our community and our schools; I am honored to be a part of this community and this school district. My son attends Mesquite, in the elementary district, and my husband is also a member of the high school district. We have lived in this community for about 18 years. During this time, we have seen so much growth in our town and the surrounding areas. This growth has led us to the opportunities that we now have and will have in the future. INOVA is just one of them.

This year, our students will have a schedule that is like the traditional campuses. They will also be taught by our district/school staff members and have the same bell schedule to follow. Information has been sent about technology pick-up, ID’s, and student schedules. We will also be scheduling a Meet the Teacher event. Please keep your eyes open for the details of this event. I do believe it is important for our students to have a connection to our team and each other so we will be offering social-emotional in-person opportunities throughout the year. I hope that this will help to hold last year’s 100% graduation rate for this year and encourage more peer-to-peer/peer-to-staff connection.

Our door is always open to you. Please feel free to share any questions, concerns, and ideas you may have. We will be sending out school newsletters, as well as the district newsletter, to share information and the happenings within our school and district.

We are looking forward to a strong partnership with you to help inspire excellence in our students! See you all very soon!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Crystal Danzy
Headmaster/Principal of Innovation and Design
