DECA Marketing

(VGHS) Congratulations to Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce's Business of the Week, DECA Marketing. Arizona DECA is a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTE), chartered by the Arizona Department of Education in 1961, that engages and equips students in high schools and colleges throughout the state. DECA strives for the success of students in and out of the school environment, giving them the resources and tools they need to understand how money and business work and, potentially, start businesses of their own. In addition, DECA includes competitions that offer students the opportunity to use what they have learned in a real-world-like experience. These competitions help students to interact with new people, understand the realities of a fast-paced business environment and to gain skills in public speaking and problem-solving. DECA can also be a great place to network and meet many students with similar goals as well as adults such as business owners, executive directors, and other successful community leaders. The Spartans are advised by Annie Hunter. To learn more about DECA Marketing, visit https://www.cguhsd.org/vgDECA.aspx.
