(VGHS) Gabriela Angulo was recognized Tuesday, December 5, as the Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month at the district’s Governing Board meeting. Gabriela was nominated by her CTE Culinary Art Teacher Mrs. Maria Walters of Vista Grande High School. “Gabriela is a senior at Vista Grande High School and a second-year Culinary Art student. She is very active in the Career and Technical Student Organization for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. She is currently the FCCA secretary and has attended FCCLA Camp to help perfect her leadership and teambuilding skills. She is always positive and wants to help other students in class. She is truly an asset to our class and the culinary arts program here at Vista Grande High School.” Gabriela’s Parents are Mr. & Mrs. Luis Angulo of Arizona City, Arizona. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in thirteen different Career & Technical Education programs throughout the Casa Grande Union High School District.
