(CGUHS) Mr. Ronald Lucasia's College Mathematics class engaged in practical financial life skills. They learned about income tax, proper budgeting, investing strategies, and how to invest in stocks. They also analyzed purchasing a car as their project for this quarter. Some of Mr. Lucasia's students told him that "sometimes it's not what we want, but what we can afford". A discussion he heard from his students was that many young Americans are facing financial difficulties due to poor financial decisions and these activities will be an eye-opener to them.
