won a full ride to Classic Cooking Academy in Scottsdale. Marcos won $24,000 to
Monroe College in New York. Way to go!!!
Attention sophomores and juniors: Invitations to apply for National
Honor Society were sent to your email if you met the minimum requirements for
eligibility. Please check your email and contact Mrs. Ramirez if you have any
questions. The deadline to submit applications is next Friday.

Student Council will be hosting a
dodgeball tournament on April 13th from 6-8 pm. Sign Ups start tomorrow through April 12th. Fee is $5 per player, $25 overall price for a

The girls Varsity
Tennis Team beat Marcos De Niza on Tuesday with a win of 8-1. In singles Summer
Shedd won 6-3, 6-0, Lynette Butron won 6-1, 6-, Cassity Wellington won 6-3,
6-3, Iben Ims won 6-1, 6-3, Anyssa Duran won 7-5, 6-3 and Emilie Edman barely
loss 7-5, 4-6, 3-10. Doubles were won by Shedd/Butron 8-2, Wellington/Ims 8-5
and Duran/Edmon 8-5.
Driver’s Education is
being offered at Casa Grande Union High School starting on May 29, 2018. Cost
of the class is $ 200. For more information or to sign up for the class see a

= Our National Honor Society is holding
a shoe drive for the Valley Humane Society. Give them your gently used shoes.
Any type or size shoes are accepted. Repurpose them to raise money and change
lives in communities around the globe. You can donate your shoes from now until
March 28th. Drop off boxes will be placed in the library, Mrs.
Ramirez’s classroom, and the front office. Posters will be posted around the
school with more information.
