Michael Forish from Casa Grande Union High School was recognized Tuesday, November 3, as the Casa Grande Union High School District’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Month during the district’s regular monthly school board meeting. Michael was nominated by his Construction teacher Mr. Mike Wagner. Michael is currently a Junior with a 4.194 GPA completing his third year of the Construction Technology program at CGUHS. Additionally, he is enrolled in the Industrial Carpentry program at Central Arizona College (CAC). Michael plans to complete four full years of the Construction Technology program and will pursue a career in the Generator Repair & Maintenance industry upon graduation. Michael’s parents are James and Rachel Forish of Casa Grande. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in the fifteen different Career and Technical Education programs offered in the Casa Grande Union High School District.
